Time had taken its toll on our ceramic tile master bathroom shower. Mold, mildew and stains permeated in spite of regular cleaning and maintenance. We started looking at other alternatives. I learned about Cosentino at an industry seminar and was intrigued. The people at Cosentino eventually put me in contact with Kayla at Slim Design Solutions, thus starting what turned out to be about a 7 month process. Kayla came to our home and did her analysis and provided a quote which turned out to be far more extensive (and expensive) than we anticipated. When the financing was in order, we worked with Kayla and Robert to get scheduled. Work commenced on Monday, August 26 and was supposed to take about 15 working days. Robert, Jeremy and Norman arrived each morning for the next nine days. Their work concluded very successfully on Friday, September 6.

Robert and his team were what turned out to be the friendliest, most professional, talented and diligent contractors I've ever had the experience of working with! Talk about teamwork! They were non-stop for two weeks working on different facets of this project, some in my driveway, some in the project area. The demo took one day. The rest of the project was some of the most precise, detailed work I've seen.

This was a very messy project as one would expect but when all was said and done, this shower turned out to be one of the nicest features, and a true focal point of our forever home.

Very professional!!! Robert and his team are very skilled and talented craftsman. They designed and built a custom shelf that was installed above our washing machine and dryer in our laundry room. this custom build includes large format tile that was cut to size with seamless edging. It turned out beautiful! Please see the attached photos. as you can see the shelf ads life to what was a dull laundry room. Customer service was outstanding. Any Question or concern was quickly answered, and any issue was taken care of. Thank you so much slim design solutions.

I could not be more please with Slim Design solutions. Robert and his guys were the most professional during the process from beginning to end. All were extremely conscious about cleaning up after themselves to leave things better than found. Best experience of all! The pictures say it all. No one has a pool bar like this. Great service and excellent craftsmanship. It’s exactly what we wanted for our outdoor pool bar with Trance Dexton waterfall counter. Robert even made two custom shelves and a cutting board. Such a pleasant experience from start to finish. Amber was patient with my million questions and quickly got us scheduled even after we waited months after our initial consultation to get things started.

Robert came by twice to check out the space before starting the work. He, Jeremy and the rest of the team were very nice people and did an amazing job on our bathroom wall. The miters were stunning! No gaps! You can tell they are passionate about what they do. Having contractors in your house all day can be a pain sometimes but they were pleasant, in time, efficient and set and cleaned up after their work everyday! I definitely recommend this team.

Everyone we worked with were extremely nice and professional! They not only installed the floors, but moved all of the furniture we had in each of the 4 bedrooms rooms the work was being done in. We experienced no damage and everything was put back as it was found. In addition, they were able to get the work done in half the amount of time they forecasted and the final product was perfect! You definitely get what you pay for, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for high quality work.

PRO: The best feeling of having a custom bathroom in our primary home at affordable prices is the cherry on top with their professionalism beginning with their email / text communication, quotes and revised quotes. Our drop in tub was delayed delivery, same day SDS was on site we pivoted and customized a regular tub with their magic quick turn around, keeping project finishing on time. We picked the hardest tile honeycomb pattern and they masterminded their process to achieve perfection and on a timely manner. Cannot wait to use them on all our future investment properties.
